From giving me advice on what offer to put in, reviewing the inspection and helping negotiate he walked me through everything. He was always available to answer questions or talk on the phone. What can I say about Matt to actually convince you this guy is not only one of the best realtors in Michigan, but probably in the nation. I am a mortgage professional myself and have very high expectations for realtors. My wife and I had just moved to Michigan from California and we did not know any realtors and went with Matt off of a referral from our lender. I had an initial call with him and let him know my wife was a PAIN when finding what she likes and that I don't want to eat up all his time viewing homes, we could go by ourselves and let him know if we find anything we like, Matt refused to not help us. He came with us to every single property. 8am on a Saturday, 9pm on a Wednesday, noon on a Sunday...we checked out maybe 20 properties all over Macomb and Oakland counties. Matt never once complained and was enthusiastic in helping. He was determined to make sure we found the right home. After several bidding wars we found the perfect home and had an offer accepted (after Matt recommended we write a heartful letter to the sellers) AND there were 25 other offers, several higher than what we offered, and they still went with us. Unfortunately, the appraisal came in MUCH lower than expected. We offered to go out of pocket 25k to make up for it cause we fell in love with the house, but the listing agent was adamant they would get a better offer even with a lower appraisal and the sellers backed out. We were defeated and unmotivated to move forward. Matt found a backup property and scheduled a showing a week later. As we were getting ready to make an offer on the new one Matt called us and said "James we are not buying this house." I said "why not? They had an offer accepted?" and Matt said "No, we are actually buying the original house that you both loved. I have been negotiating with the realtor and we think we can make it work." Wow. Not only did Matt not give up, he negotiated a deal where we were paying 30k less than our original offer and got the sellers to throw in a bunch of free stuff at the house! We moved in right away after closing. I can not tell you how impressed I was with Matt. I put him in my absolute highest regards when it comes to being a realtor. If you are considering using him you need to just go with him and let him work his magic for you.

My husband and I were connected with Avery through our mortgage lender when we began searching for a home is this aggressively competitive market – and man did we luck out! From the moment we began communications with her, Avery lent herself to be a straightforward, honest realtor, which was something we were looking for as first-time home buyers. She made us aware of the pros and cons of each property we saw based on the listings, and shared her critiques and opinions with us as we toured each home. These assessments ultimately led us to submit strong, yet reasonable offers – with our final offer on the home we ended up purchasing being exactly what the home appraised for! Avery was also a fantastic communicator. She made herself readily available via text or phone call at most times throughout the day, and she sought answers to our questions from the seller’s realtor in a timely manner. Furthermore, when we put an offer on the first home we were interested in, Avery went through all of the paperwork with us in grave detail (page by page), and regularly checked in to ensure we were understanding everything contained within it. Again, this was extremely helpful as first-time home buyers, and we learned a lot through the process which ultimately made us much more confidant in our decision to proceed with a purchase. Lastly, Avery provided us with fantastic recommendations for both a reputable title company and home inspector. Tis made the entire process smoother and easier on our end! Overall, I cannot thank Avery enough for everything she did to make this home buying process easy and exciting for my husband and I, and without hesitation, we would recommend her to anyone purchasing a home! Note: When we closed and went for the final walkthrough, she surprised us with a gift basket containing champagne and get this: An outfit for our newborn daughter (who was born 1 week prior to closing) that she customized using her cricket. Ali worked with us to find homes in the areas we were interested and then made sure we had the right offer in our multiple offer situation. Once we were in process he helped us navigate through some back and forth with the seller. Hopefully we won't be moving again for a long time but if we ever do I'll be reaching back to out Ali again!

There are so many wonderful things I can say but I’ll highlight the ones that stands out the most. Firstly Heather Rich was not our initial Realtor I happened across her on Zillow actually and she assisted me even after I told her I already had a realtor who was a referral from a friend. I tried to contact this other Realtor for 2 days on the second day my husband and I decided to go with Heather. Honestly, everyday I wake up in my house and say this really was meant to be ours. Buying your first home can be extremely stressful. Not only were we inexperienced when it came to purchasing a home, we were also very nervous. Ali Berry helped us through all of that. He has a calming energy that would make any home buyer feel comfortable, whether it’s the first home you’re buying or the 6th. Ali took the time to show us houses every chance we had, whether it was 8am or 6pm. He knew exactly what we wanted and would not let us settle for anything less. Brian was absolutely incredible to work with. I had two rentals that I was looking to cash out of, and I live remotely, so he literally did all the legwork on thi sone. He called me back right away, got out to look at my houses the next day, and helped me coordinate repairs, city inspections (gotta love Wyandotte), and navigate a myriad of other issues to get the houses through the sale process. Within a few weeks of listing, both houses were under offer, and he did a great job working through sellers' concerns, getting the title company all the paperwork they needed, and ensuring that everything went through right up until the last minute. I found Brian when he was recommended by a co-worker. He did an outstanding job with all aspects of selling my house. It was on the market for 17 days, but we really had the buyer after about 10 days. There were some issues right before closing, but Brian worked with me, the title company and the bank to make it as smooth as possible. Brian proved to be a tough negotiator and got the most for my house that he could. I like his philosophy about putting a house on the market at the correct price. We made contact with Matt in 2019 and we’re planning to retire and move to San Diego and wanted a realtor with expertise in the Downtown San Diego area.
